A design force to be reckoned with, founders Bonnie and Connie have been putting their mark on our regions home for years, curating and styling over 300 homes, predominantly in the property styling space. With a strong desire to serve clients on a whole new level of style and design, Studio Oni was born.
The knowledgeable and relatable design duo, combine extensive experience on numerous design platforms including real estate styling, display homes, interior design, marketing and styling to stay. Their aim for each and every client is to walk into a finished space and feel an absolute sense of serene, with all elements working together in harmony.
When Bonnie and Connie commenced working together years ago, other than immediately bonding over their love for their 4 legged family, it was evident very quickly that for both of them, styling a home was so much more than placing some cushions and hanging a piece of art. They invest so much of themselves into creating a space that is not only beautiful, but functional, practical and derives emotion from those entering it. For them, your home has to hold meaning to you and even if selling your property, it’s essential to create an emotional connection with your target market.
What excites them about design, is that no two properties are the same. No 4 walls are ever identical, from the structural foundations, to the window furnishings, to the people that use and reside in them. They vary in every aspect and bringing out the unique features of each space to completely complement their clients lifestyle, is the most rewarding feeling.

Bonnie West
Interior Stylist / Co-Founder
Bonnie’s passion for interiors and property started young. Growing up scrolling real estate pages, intrigued by each property’s uniqueness and beauty, her interest was sparked. Building her first home at the age of 20 reignited that passion and Bonnie made a career move from marketing assistant to property stylist and commenced her studies in interior design.
A reputable local design firm quickly recognised Bonnie’s natural talent and within her first year was promoted to Senior Stylist within the company. Working alongside some of our regions most capable designers and business mentors, Bonnie’s thirst for knowledge and fascination with the industry meant she soaked up as much knowledge as possible. This, married with her authentic ability, comes an unparalleled design and styling resource.
Bonnie’s favourite part of the design process is finding a way to marry the aesthetic goal, with functionality so her clients never have to compromise. She has a deep love for minimal and modern interiors, letting the beauty in architecture speak for itself. She has an eye for finding the perfect pieces to simply complement the natural features of a home.
With a charming and engaging nature, Bonnie is one of the kindest and most relatable women you’ll ever meet. When she’s not burying her head in the latest Home Beautiful magazine or stalking her favourite Instagram accounts, you will find her hanging out with her 4 legged bestie, Lily.
Connie Gutierrez

Connie exudes creativity, it’s evident from the very first moment you meet her. Possessing a diverse professional background, everything has always centered around and come back to design, it’s where she belongs. Her creative vision, passion for design and eye for detail is evident in everything she does.
Connie has worked in design both locally and in Melbourne in an array of platforms. Bringing with her a wealth of natural talent and acquired design knowledge and experience, Connie is an asset to your personal design team. She is passionate about ensuring her clients feel comfortable throughout their design journey and possesses a unique ability to communicate concepts to clients in a way they can see and feel their vision come to life.
Having traveled extensively, Connie draws inspiration from the unrivaled and simplistic beauty of the architecture itself. Drawing on inspiration from all over the world, her appreciation for minimal and modern design inspires her in her approach to design. Connie truly believes that there is beauty in simplicity and loves introducing this concept to her clients.
You will not find anyone as committed with a true ability to think outside the square, than our fun loving and completely genuine Connie. When not designing, she loves spending time with her two Italian greyhounds and creating memories in new places with her friends and family.
